General Summary:

Places, tracks, and manages purchase orders and day-to-day procurement activities to support fulfillment of materials, parts, and other supply needs of internal stakeholders. Manages supplier relationship to send requests, negotiate costs, and ensure promise dates are met. Reviews requisitions or MRPs to anticipate internal supply and demand requirements and secure timely delivery of parts, components, or services. Works across teams to understand requirements, execute purchase orders, and address issues. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree.
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1+ year of buyer, procurement, supply chain, or related experience.

Job Profile:

• Would be supporting Global Procurement Operations.
• Good understanding of REQ to PO process in Oracle Platform.
• Hands on with Invoice resolution process.
• Work with cross functional teams like AP / IT / Sourcing / Contracts to support in resolving the issues.
• Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes.
• Handling escalations regarding PO to Pay process.
• Build, maintain and manage relationships with Global customers and keep up good communications
• Knowledge and experience about Vendor on boarding, vendor management.
• Perform tactical sourcing (RFQ’s) and/or contracting 
• Drive continuous process improvements

Requirements:

• Any Graduate
• Minimum of 5 years and up to a maximum of 8 years of experience in the similar profile preferably in US based MNC’s.
• Strong understanding of Source to Pay process and Indirect Procurement categories.
• Good knowledge and skills of Vendor Negotiations, Tactical Sourcing and Contract Management
• Must have worked on Oracle Platform.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible to work in shifts.
• Should be innovative; self-motivated to resolve the customer issues.
• Ability to scale up to bring in process improvements, operations excellency.
• Good team player.
• Proactively contributes to the team.
• Actively committed to team’s development.
• Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
