JOB OBJECTIVE            


Business development for governmental activities of Thales in Pakistan including Security, Defense and Aerospace


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Build strong relationship with the Customers and set up action plans for developing business and enhancement of Customer satisfaction
  • Develop full awareness of Customer environment, Competition and main third country platformists selling in the country
  • Contribute to the Country Strategic Plan
  • Identify, qualify and develop Business opportunities with the Customers and Partners
  • Interface with multinational Business Units having business stakes with Local Accounts
  • Support the Sales teams in actions required for order intake as well as entire bid process
  • Explore potential Partners and develop partnership agreements to enter in new markets
  • Suggest, run, and participate in promotional plan for Accounts and measure performance of such activities as well as Customer satisfaction
  • Follow-up the project during the implementation phase in coordination with Project teams and support BL in cash collection/overdue recollection when needed.
  • Support CDI development in the country
  • Additional potential activity: if positive geopolitical situation evolution, monitoring of the market in Yemen

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in business development, sales and/or key account management within Security, Transportation and aerospace sectors
  • Ability to interact with a Multinational corporation
  • Experience with Pakistani Public Sector is a plus
  • Capability in building teaming strategy with local and/or international companies of the sectors
  • Experience in client and stakeholder management.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS         


  • Preferably MBA/B.Sc. (Engineering) from reputable local/international University or Business School

PREFERRED SKILLS


  • Excellent communication in English (speaking & writing);
  • Strong inter-personal & networking skills
  • Demonstration of high ethical standards and reliability
  • Candidate must have good knowledge & interest in advanced technologies, especially on targeted markets
  • Good interest for the Pakistani culture
  • Good knowledge of the French Institutions and export control procedures is a plus
  • Autonomy, transparency, capacity to adapt, good listening, writing & presentation abilities
