Position Purpose:
We are currently seeking talented and driven individuals to join our team as Business Development Intern. The candidates should possess really good English communication skills experience in the service industry, specifically on freelance platforms such as Upwork, freelancer.com and People Per Hour. Exceptional writing skills are paramount for this role.
Education & Professional Qualification:
Degree(s)/Major(s): Graduate/ Fresh grad in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University.
Certification(s): Not mandatory, but certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
Exceptionally good fluency with English communication.
Knowledge about Freelancing platforms and proposal writing.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
Assist in generating leads through various channels like LinkedIn, Upwork, and email outreach.
Analyze data to understand market trends and customer needs.
Help in creating compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to support business development efforts.
Collaborate on marketing and sales campaigns.
Prepare reports on business development activities and progress.
Provide administrative support to the business development team.
Monitor competitor activities and provide insights.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve services.
Assist in creating content for marketing materials and social media.
Identify and suggest improvements to business development processes.
Requirements
Exceptional communication skills for engaging and retaining clients.
Proficiency in writing persuasive proposals and effectively engaging clients.
Understanding of marketing & strategies.
Familiarity with LinkedIn is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate within a team environment.
Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales goals.
