Job Brief:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Business Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role demands a unique blend of traditional business analysis skills with a strong data-centric mindset. They will demonstrate a deep understanding of data ecosystems, data analysis techniques, and the ability to extract valuable insights from data to drive business decisions. This individual will be a key player in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, with a proven track record of success in data-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities:1. Requirement Analysis & Documentation:
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and epics, focusing on data requirements such as data sources, quality, and accessibility.
- Translate business needs into clearly defined functional and non-function requirements for data-driven initiatives, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and machine learning applications.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and use case scenarios.
- Proactively identify and analyze gaps in existing data processes and propose improvement solutions.
2. Communication & Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams, business users, and management, translating technical concepts into clear business language.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and developers to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Build strong relationships with product management, development, and QA teams to ensure seamless project execution.
3. Data Analysis & Visualization:
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Develop visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate data findings stakeholders.
- Utilize data storytelling techniques to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.
4.Project Management:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of data-driven projects.
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies related to data initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of project proposals and presentations.
Qualifications:- 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of working in data projects.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Hands-on Experience:- JIRA
- Confluence
- Wireframing Tools (Balsamiq, Figma, Draw.io)
- Charts/Flows (Lucid Charts, MS Visio)
- API tools (Swagger, Postman)
- Data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R)
- Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Bonus Points:- Understanding of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis or data analytics from reputable platform
