Business Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in the software development industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and define solutions that meet business and technical needs. The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business goals and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities1. Requirement Gathering & Documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and clients to elicit and document business requirements.
- Convert business needs into clear and concise Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in existing systems and processes.
- Define Acceptance Criteria and Use Cases for software features and enhancements.
2. Process Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Work with teams to define and improve workflow automation and business rules.
- Facilitate process mapping and re-engineering initiatives.
3. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business teams, software development teams, and quality assurance teams.
- Ensure that technical teams fully understand the business context and functional requirements.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to track requirement progress and resolve conflicts.
- Assist in prioritizing features based on business impact and technical feasibility.
4. Agile & Scrum Participation
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing to Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Daily Standups.
- Maintain and update Product Backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Assist in defining and refining Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for software solutions.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and validate requirements.
- Work with SQL queries, reporting tools, and dashboards to derive insights from data.
- Generate business intelligence reports and KPI metrics to track product performance.
- 6. User Experience (UX) & Testing Support
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive user experiences.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in defining test cases.
- Work with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure the software meets business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within the software development industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
- Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data analysis.
- Familiarity with API documentation and integration workflows.
Business & Analytical Skills:- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to create process flows, wireframes, and diagrams.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong understanding of business processes, requirements management, and user stories.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, or Fintech solutions.
