Job Description for AWS Cloud Consultant 

Experience: 4-6years of experience on AWS/Cloud Platform

Job Location:Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Build cloud solutions on AWS Cloud Platform tailored to client specific needs.
  
• Deploy, migrate, configure, and manage Windows and Linux based solutions on AWS Cloud.
  
• Create and manage Autoscaling EC2, VPCs, Elastic Load Balancers, RDS, S3 and other services across multiple availability zones.
  
• AWS core services, including: Compute and Networking, Storage and CDN, Database, Application Services, Deployment and Management
  
• Solid knowledge of Linux Systems Administration/Engineering
  
• Security features that AWS provides and best practices
  
• Network technologies as they relate to AWS networking, including: DNS and load balancing, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and AWS Direct Connect
  
• Scripting skills on both Windows and Linux with Microsoft PowerShell, Bash or other
  
• Build tools and automation that eliminate repetitive tasks in Infrastructure deployments.
  
• Apply knowledge of various programming/scripting languages, support best practices and configuration management to support and maintain services.
  
• Implementation and deployment of AWS Well Architected solutions including backup, restore, monitoring using AWS native services.
  
• AWS Identity and Access Management to make sure AWS services have proper policies and permissions to talk to other AWS services in Data and DevOps space.
  
• Design and Implement containerized solutions in AWS Cloud.
  
• Designing and implementing secure network solutions that meet business requirements.
  
• Creating blueprints using CloudFormation templates for common workloads.
  
• Maintaining, testing and implementing AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (AWS DRS)/Cloud Endure procedures.
  
• Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment.
  
• Developing software components in Java/Python .NET that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
  

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or a related discipline.
  
• Minimum of 5+ years IT experience managing deployment ofInfrastructure setups on AWS Cloud
  
• Minimum of 4 years of technical experience with AWS cloud technologies is a must have.
  
• Advanced scripting experience writing automation using Python
  
• Experience with AWS Build tools (e.g. Cloud Formation, Code Commit, Code Build, Code Pipeline, Code Pipeline)
  
• Expert level experience with Infra as a code tools like Cloud Formation, Serverless Application Model, Terraform etc.
  
• Experience writing build scripts with Jenkins, Github Actions and containerizing application using Docker
  
• Experience with the following AWS Services ECS, EKS, ECR, S3, EC2, VPC, Route 53, Lambda, Event Bridge, Cloud Watch, IAM, RDS, Back up Services, Systems Manager,
  
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
  
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Nagios, ELK)
  
• Experience with release, change and configuration management.
  
• Demonstrated experience with the design, implementation and support of Amazon Web Services and hybrid cloud solutions across multiple global regions.
  
• Demonstrated experience in assisting with the establishment of company policies, operational objectives, and work plans that affect immediate operations.
  
• Excellent communication, verbal and organizational skills.
  
• Excellent customer service skills and focus.
