General Summary:
Title: Sr. Engineer
Job function: Need to support Qualcomm Compute, Mobile customer projects. Candidate should deal with the Audio, DSP & voice related engineering problems reported by Customers. Need to have End to End Audio usecase understanding and need to co-work with cross functional teams in Qualcomm to speed up the solutions to customer problems
Skills/experience: 4 to 7 years of relevant exp in Android Audio framework/AudioReach/ALSA Audio drivers/DSP. Work experience in Windows , XR or Chrome Audio stack is added advantage. Understanding of TDM/PCM/I2S/PDM/Slimbus/Soundwire Audio Hardware Interfaces, Digital Microphones, Amplifiers and Audio Codecs is a added advantage. Working experience on any DSP (porting and optimization of different algorithms along with real time debugging) is real added advantage. Good RTOS concepts, knowledge of ARM architecture. Strong knowledge in C/C++. Experience with SW and HW tools used in debugging. Linux kernel and Android debugging. Responsibilities: Support Audio, DSP Customer activities for Windows/Linux Education requirements: BE/BTECH/MTECH(ECE/CSE)
