Title and Summary
Associate Managing Consultant, Advisors – Event ManagementMasterCard Advisors, the professional services arm of MasterCard Worldwide, provides payments-focused consulting, marketing, information and risk management services to financial institutions and merchants worldwide. With its unique category expertise, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in addressing complex challenges throughout the payment’s lifecycle, MasterCard Advisors addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances MasterCard's strategic and tactical performance, and establishes MasterCard's global thought-leadership pre-eminence.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead and drive the digital marketing agenda to with internal and external stakeholders to grow and scale Mastercard’s and clients’ revenue through data and results-driven digital marketing strategies and solutions.
• Create and implement marketing solutions that include data-driven digital marketing initiatives, marketing automation, integrated marketing programs, business development, acquisition, portfolio marketing management, product launches to support the growth or Mastercard’s business and our customers. Lead and implement fresh and scalable and automated digital marketing solutions
• Evaluate and work with external marketing related partners with effective platforms, capabilities, expertise and innovative solutions that best support the growth of our business
• Negotiate, execute and manage end-to-end digital marketing processes and implementation, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing
• Influence and work closely with a large diverse team to achieve marketing returns, revenue targets and increase market share with customers
• Provide consultative industry, leading practices and Mastercard data and insights in alignment with segment specialty that drive optimal marketing results
• Manage projects, P&L and end-to-end executions in a timely manner
All About You
• Conducts short- and long-term planning and management for events and sales.
• Develops and recommend the budget, marketing plans, and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
• Maintains or exceeds budgeted sales and profits in all event areas.
• Recommends, develops, and implements effective marketing plans for generating event revenues.
• Evaluates each piece of event business to ensure business can be properly serviced.
• Assembles creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors.
• Trains, supervises, and works with event staff, to solicit and book banquet and catering functions, as well as the planning, merchandising and execution of the functions.
• Leads event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
• Administers all phases of the event department, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures.
• Coaches and counsels employees to reflect company service standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree and intermediate work experience (4-6 years) in event management.
• Experienced in managing creative and event partners.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
