The aim of the Institute is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of schools and other educational institutions in the country through innovation, policy development, practice, training and research.

This is a grant-funded contractual position.


Responsibilities:    You will be responsible for:


  • visit project schools and collect data using available tools
  • assist the MERL Manager and the Research Team in developing and maintaining a project database
  • perform data entry and data processing to create content for various reporting purposes
  • support the MERL Manager and the Research Team in progress monitoring
  • attend events such as training sessions and workshops to document processes, procedures, and outcomes
  • undertake other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements    You should have: 


  • a Master's or Bachelor's degree in social or natural sciences from a reputable national/international university
  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in progress monitoring, data collection, and data management
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal English & Urdu
  • proficiency in data collection tools, data management, entry, and processing 
  • ability to work effectively in a team and maintain confidentiality
  • skilled in MS Office, Excel, SPSS, and other related software
  • capable of working under pressure.
