We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President, Financial Crime - Risk Stewardship -Risk Strategy

Principal responsibilities

• Act as the key point of contact in FC reporting related matters.
• Preparation, review, challenge and consolidation of accurate data, reports, and preparation of relevant papers for key executive meetings/forums.
• Maintain oversight over regional risk maps/ top risks, Key control indicator (KCIs)/ Key risk indicators(KRIs), Risk appetite statement (RAS) metrics and key emerging risks.
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders within Group, Regions, Markets, and Functions to provide expertise and support on all financial crime related matters.
• Drive consistency in messaging throughout the organization and building a culture of transparency between Second line of defense SLOD and First line of defense FLOD. 
• Facilitate the sharing of information and creation of feedback loops across the firm to continuously adapt and improve risk stewardship.
• Providing support on Operational Effectiveness (OE) and Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) and Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) while presenting and evaluating the risks and controls identified through OE and EWRA.
• Update the Regional Senior Management on the changing dynamics of FC risks regularly.
• Strategies and policies to be developed and communicated clearly and in a timely manner. 
• Close working relationship maintained with the Regional Head of Risk Strategy & Framework
• The job holder will be an individual contributor reporting to VP Risk Stewardship and supporting MENAT Regional Head of Risk Strategy & Framework
