The Department of Medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital, comprises of independent sections of Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pulmonary & Critical Care. The Department has over 70+ full-time Faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency Programmes are offered in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Adult Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Nephrology and Dermatology, as well as Fellowship Programmes in Clinical Neurophysiology & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Interventional Cardiology and Infectious Diseases.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Section of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine.
Responsibilities:
You will have an independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and specified administrative activities.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You must have completed a structured postgraduate training program from a reputable institution and possess FCPS Pulmonary Medicine (Preferred: FCPS critical care or specialized training in Critical Care Medicine), FRCP with specialized training in Respiratory Medicine, or Diplomate American Board of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine along with substantial postgraduate experience at an internationally recognized, high-quality facility.
For the position of Assistant Professor, you should have a minimum of 2 years' experience at the level of Senior Instructor or equivalent. For the position of Associate Professor, you should have at least 5 years' experience as an Assistant Professor
In addition, you should have demonstrated scholarship either through research and publications in peer reviewed indexed journals or by virtue of substantial contributions to education.
