Job Purpose


As Assistant Manager Legal, your role will be to support the legal department and facilitating the Legal Director.


Education, Experience & Skills


  • LLB
  • 2 years’ experience with a law firm or in-house legal department

Key Responsibilities


  • Drafting and vetting of legal agreements for all departments
  • Organize the Litigation Management System to ensure case matters are handled on time. Independently correspond with corporate counsels and outside counselors regarding case updates. Facilitation of documents, affidavits, and case matters to the counsels to ensure smooth case handling.
  • Ensured professional fee payments to counsels are done on time. Negotiated payments on behalf of the Legal Directors. Also, prepared a Payment Tracker to check on the late payments to ensure smooth operation.
  • Maintains and updates the TPO’s of all third parties for legal department. Sends out necessary fee engagement letters to the external counsels on case basis.
  • Provides high level support to Company Secretary of GSK Pakistan, by handling correspondence and submissions with Regulatory/Statutory bodies, organizing Board meetings, preparing/drafting minutes of the Board meetings and Annual General Meeting, circulation of Notice, Agenda, and minutes of Board meetings, preparing and maintain records of official correspondence, mergers, acquisitions and local and regional projects.
  • Manages timely completion of quarterly and annual audits, updating of information on GSK website and documentations in compliance with Code of Corporate Governance and local laws.
  • Dependable and responsible in handling of company legal & confidential high priority matters.
