Overview:
The incumbent will be responsible to manage all air freight (export) related business activities at Karachi station as per customer expectations & company standards including operations, retention & growth of business, procurement, customer services, operational system OPS KPIs maintenance etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Managing all AFR export related business activities at Karachi station as per customer expectations & company standards.
•Maintaining professional relationships with all carriers.
•Procure freight rates, space & services from the most suitable carriers & keeping in mind market/competition situation.
•Make joint sales calls along with sales colleagues as per need.
•Contributing to retention & growth of the business by maintaining close liaison with sales team as well as directly with customers according to the situation.
•Maintain professional & effective business communication with network offices in connection with their inquiries aiming at converting every inquiry into business as well as finding resolutions.
•Respond effectively to RFQs / related inputs.
•Implement the instructions received directly through HOD concerning airfreight management, organization operating system, KPIs, MLW online training courses, Do's & Don'ts concerning new customers, commodities, and different documentation etc.
•All actions to be performed in accordance with company policy, applicable rules & regulations and local laws.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience at an established & compliant freight forwarding company.
•Preference will be given to the candidates who have their proven managerial experience at an established & compliant freight forwarding company.
•Master’s degree preferably in a related field from a reputable institution.
•Strategic thinker with analytical skills, high achievement drive and ability of taking initiative.
•Must have good management, interpersonal and communication skills & high level of tolerance.
•Strong command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
•Learning mindset.
