Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for preparing budgets and monthly financial reports related to Off-Campus Secondary Hospitals. Your role is essential in maintaining the credibility and integrity of financial transactions to support effective decision-making by management.
- Preparing statistical and financial Budget Variance Reports (BVR), financial performance reports and other documents as required by management.
- Prepare budgets for all departments in consultation with the Budget & Planning leadership, various departmental heads and Program Administrators.
- Conduct cost analyses for existing and proposed services or projects by gathering information from various sources.
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, long-term financial projections, and monthly budget breakdowns.
- Updating and managing databases promptly to ensure accurate and readily available information.
- Coordinating with various departments for the annual price adjustment process to update individual service prices as per the approved budget.
- Raising Online Capital Purchase Requisitions in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with manual purchase requests from user departments also update the utilization.
- Verifying that all payment authorizations are in place and ensuring requested items are within the approved budget.
- Managing capital closures related to Off-Campus Hospitals.
- Updating pharmacy stock pricing biannually.
- Assisting in feasibility studies for Off-Campus Hospitals.
- Work on special assignments given by the supervisor/ manager.
- Refine processes for efficient monitoring of budgetary and actual financial/ statistical data.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have/be:
- CA (finalist)/ACCA / MBA preferably with 2 years’ experience in finance.
- Must be accurate, detailed-oriented and yet be able to view financial information from a broad global perspective.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Experience working with cross-department teams with the ability to work effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Capacity to handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision while adhering to tight deadlines.
