You will have the opportunity to learn to lead smaller activities, while supporting a more experienced technologist in other projects. You will also work with and learn from R&D ice cream experts to ensure best product design as well as legal, nutritional and food safety compliance.WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:Follow all relevant steps for product development projects as Technical Project Lead.To plan, organize and execute a variety of project types as assigned under guidance from line manager, working closely with R&D experts from a variety of fields.Support or lead technical delivery of projects, covering diverse topics such as: product concepts; formulation design and specifications; lab and pilot plant prototypes; cost, quality assessments; sustainability, legislation compliance and claims.Write and manage specifications and systems data for the products you work on.Manage supplier relationships working closely with other functionsWork closely with key internal partners such as: Marketing, Supply Chain and FinanceApply Unilever development tools (Risk Analysis, Swot analysis, Design HACCP, InnoFlex, 5S, ICE).Identify opportunities for cost-optimization within the Ice cream products, formulations, raw materials, and factory processes. By analyzing technical, financial and supply chain data, you will quantify the risks and rewards associated with each opportunity and prioritize accordingly.Assessment of new technologies and technical opportunities with the latest developments in the relevant area.Ensure the compliance of the work to the Unilever Code of Business PrinciplesFor Consumer Technical Insights, develop insights that guide the business towards new product & communication opportunities.Help Unilever to deliver consumer-perceived product differentiation and contribute to business growth.Guide product development so it delivers superior consumer experiences and assuring product delivery towards business ambition and shaping new opportunities to drive growth within the business.Conduct product assessment in an objective, ethical way, by following best-in-class processes and tools.Develop creative language and demos to shape the product promise along with fact-based substantiation.Manage sensory panel in evaluationWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on packing materials in the FMCG sector.Skills:Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in procurement software and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement.Leadership:You are an inclusive motivator of people.
