We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and fostering effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide regular updates on financial performance and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Liaise with external parties, such as auditors and tax authorities, to facilitate smooth audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:


  • Chartered Accountants or ACCA qualified

Must-Have:


  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English communication to engage with the US team and customers.
  • Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work during US business hours
