Job Role / Responsibilities:
Responsible to install, maintain, repair, and optimize air conditioning systems, ensuring efficient and effective operation for all off campus locations consisting of collection centres/IMS, pharmacies etc.:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on Air conditioning systems as per system protocol to identify and address potential issues before they lead to system failures.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in air conditioning systems, replacing or repairing faulty components to restore optimal functionality.
- Responsible for filling out maintenance work request slips indicating time and material consumed.
- Adhere to safety protocols during installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, promoting a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing quick and effective solutions to restore equipment/systems during unexpected breakdowns
- Conduct the installation of new air conditioning systems, including mounting units, connecting refrigerant lines, and ensuring proper electrical wiring.
- Meet the scheduled timeline provided to cater any complain.
- Work cooperatively and maintain positive working relationship with others.
- Actively participate in scheduled safety and security training programs, staying updated on emergency response procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols.
- Prioritize and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment for both yourself and others. This includes the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), following established safety procedures, and actively participating in safety training programs.
- Maintaining a secure work environment and aligns with organizational standards for safety compliance.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
- Middle & Certificate Course in Air conditioning from a Government registered institute
- Preference would be given to DAE in refrigeration & air conditioning.
- At least 5 years ‘of relevant experience in hospital/hotels or facilities management division and must have sufficient knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration system etc.
- Proficient understanding of Air conditioning systems, including components like compressors, evaporators, and condensers, as well as knowledge of refrigeration cycles and electrical systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities to identify and address issues in air conditioning systems, ensuring efficient problem resolution.
- Problem solving and positive attitude.
