Warehouse / Dispatch forklift Operator

• To load and offload materials on/from truck and containers.
• Handle movement of Coils / Drums / Baskets.
• Maintain zero complaints with respect to inventory damage.
• Maintain stipulated workdays attendance.
• Maintain safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Maintain zero accidents and stringent adherence to HSE rules & regulations.
• Keeping forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• To handle the FG (finished goods) with proper care and responsibility.
• To drive the forklifts with different capacity conforming to HSE Standards and taking care of the forklift thereby keeping the maintenance cost to the bare minimum.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Store the products in proper places in warehouse.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the finished good yard, scrap yard & warehouse.
• Proper pre-staging of finished goods prior to loading them on trailer or container and ensure zero error.
• Ensure trailer/container load securement by using adequate safety materials like steel chains, lashing belts, airbags, wooden wedges/blocks, silica gel etc.
• Follow the daily forklift checklist.
• Maintain material handling equipment by recharging, cleaning, oiling, refueling and other necessary actions, and record all information on log sheet/checklist.
• Load & unload cargo, Pre-stage the finished goods, Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments, Relocate items within the warehouse or factory.
• Operate a forklift/Turret truck or other machinery used for transporting or shipping materials.
• Identifying damages and report shortages or quality defects.
• Support in the warehouse yearend stock take.

Qualifications:

- High School with ROP Forklift License.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Safe driving of forklifts
- Conversant in both Arabic and English
- Good written Arabic & English language skills
- Attention to detail.
- Forklift safety knowledge
- Teamwork
- Job flexibility
- Safety conscious
- Time management
- Shows adaptability.

Experience:
- Minimum 2-year experience in forklift driving
- Proven experience as forklift operator
