As the Section Head – ICT Sales you will be responsible of ensuring that their sales professionals apply the highest professional standards in every customer engagement, provide oversight and guidance on professional sales practices to drive exemplary sales performance to enable delivery of the revenue targets agreed by the business. Build a strong capabilities within B2B Sales team in ICT/IOT domain and ensure delivering Ooredoo Oman ICT/IOT Ambition Strategy 2023-2025.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible of the following:
Contributes to the development of the overall ICT Strategy and associated budget and AOP Manage the operations and services required along the customer journey after products and solutions are sold, including both service delivery and assurance. Develop annual strategy/ tactical plan for the ICT vertical. Manage, motivate and develop Team (Team Leaders, Strategic Account Managers and their repartees to ensure sales target achievement. Provides Leadership, day-to-day direction and works with Department Heads to ensure the team members achieve highest levels of performance in order to deliver personal and departmental targets. Delegate effectively to the team in order that they develop their skills and knowledge. Establish an overall plan to develop the team capabilities and skills by providing them with project assignments, knowledge transfer, formal and on-the-job training. Leads, manages, coaches the team, appraise accurately on a frequent basis the team member’s performance against their agreed performance contracts and support their delivery. Manages the allocation of resources within the department to effectively deliver the AOP and the department KPI’s. Management of the department budget / costs. Develop B2B Sales team capabilities within ICT/IOT domain Ensure that the AMs achieve financial targets for all products and services through the effective management of the team. Conduct Company, ICT Product and Solution presentations to new prospects and existing customers to generate sales leads and opportunities. Improve the efficiency of ICT E2E Process within Ooredoo Oman to achieve a higher customer satisfaction Ensure IOT Quality and performance are up to standard to ensure best service provided to customers Manage customer and partner relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales cycle; prospecting to contract closure. Work cooperatively with IoT Architects/Sales Engineers to increase existing account penetration and overall success in the territory while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate data and forecasts within the SalesForce CRM system across different IoT product lines and various sales cycles. Carry out initial sales prospecting activities as required to develop and close new pipeline for the region
Skills Required
Technical knowledge on ICT/IOT/Cloud Computing is a must. Technical knowledge on Telecommunication is preferred Strong Leadership Skills Strong Stakeholder Management Skills Strong Selling & Negotiation Skills Ability to design short and long strategies
The Person
You should have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing field, 3 years’ experience in ICT/IOT domain with a bachelor degree.
