As part of the IS team of OCI, providing IS administration support to the staffwithin theorganization.
Key Deliverables:
- You will be responsible to provide first line support for network (edge switches), passive cabling (ethernet and fiber) and for the CCTVsystem.
- Provide first line support to all user enquiries andrequests.
- You will be responsible for supporting, testing and troubleshooting hardwareand softwareissues.
- You will be responsible to provide on-call support to all users of OCI,whenever needed.
- Interact with third party for maintenancework.
- You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and supportfor OCI designated PCs, printers and IndustrialPCs.
- Assist in setting up and running the IS infrastructure in conference and Boardrooms.
- Installation of PCs, PC hardware components, printers and other PC peripherals.
- You will be responds to users inquires and requests for assistance with allPC relatedproblems/queries.
- Assist in maintaining a library of all original software, utilities and manuals.
- Assist in setting-up/modification of e-mail accounts forusers.
- Assist in configuring OCI owned smart phones andtablets.
- Ensure installation of new and upgraded version ofapplication software on new and existing PChardware.
- Install anti-virus software and ensure updates areapplied.
- Raise requisitions for IS software requirements, hardware requirements, peripherals and other needs includingdisposal.
- Assist to keep stock of hardwarespares.
- Assist in maintaining a register for all in-and-out ISassets.
- You will be responsible for handling and managing the basic configurationof switches.
- You will be responsible for update and maintaining regular security patches onall userPCs.
- Arrange and conduct user awareness training sessions for variousIS applications.
- Assist in formulating continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency of processes and reduction ofcosts.
Job Profile:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/ information technology.
- IT certification preferred (ITIL/CCNA).
Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (Arabic andEnglish).
- Ability to communicate technical information to businessand non-businessusers.
- Ability to perform root causeanalysis.
- Knowledge of computer and/or network securitysystems, applications, procedures, andtechniques.
- Ability to identify and resolve computer systemmalfunctions and operationalproblems.
- Excellent communicationskills.
- Relationship managementskills.
- Ability to take timely actions anddecisions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and softwaretrends.

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in relatedindustries.
Business Understanding:
- Good understanding of the overall IT operations isessential.
