Major Duties and Responsibilities:
· Analyze sales forecasts, historical data, and market trends to develop accurate SC Planning /Sheet.
· Balance supply and demand to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
· Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and secure reliable sources of supply. Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
· Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and customer demands while minimizing holding costs.
· Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels, reorder points, and stock movement.
· Coordinate with DC and manage the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery.
· Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
· Resolve issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries.
· Collaborate with Brand, Franchisee and operations teams to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
· Analyze historical data, market trends, and seasonal variations to develop accurate demand forecasts.
· Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
· Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and trade laws.
· Act as a liaison between suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure alignment across the supply chain.
· Provide regular updates and reports on supply chain performance and key metrics.
Qualifications
Behavioral Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement within the major Food and FMCG companies in Oman.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Technical Competencies
Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent, MS Office platform).
Strong analytical skills for demand planning and problem-solving.
Knowledge of inventory management techniques and logistics principles.
