Job Description
· Analyze data collected from UAV platforms (fixed-wing, multirotor-drones, etc) and satellites using specialized tools.
· Process aerial acquired imagery (topographic sheets and contour maps) using using photogrammetry software such as Pix4D, Context Capture, Agisoft, etc, with and without Ground Control Points (GCPs)
· Implement QA/QC methodologies for survey data validation and accuracy checks.
· Integrate thermal, multi-spectral, and LiDAR sensors for specialized data acquisition and ensure QA/QC validation.
· Execute georeferencing operations on raster and vector data using QGIS, ArcGIS, and Global Mapper.
· Working closely with the flight operation teams to generate flight plans that would result in high quality delivers that meet the desired objectives.
· Develop alignment sheets and finalize drawing layouts through AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and QGIS.
· Preparing survey reports presentations and supporting documentation as per project, operational requirements
· Generate inspection reports in MS Word and KML formats for GIS integration.
· Perform ground-penetrating radar (GPR) data collection and analysis for underground utilities and structural assessments (Upon Training).
· Fly the drone to collect survey and inspection data as per the requirements and SOPs (Upon Training)
· Delivering data products, results on time and as per the expected quality
· Collaborating with cross functional team members to produce high quality deliverables
· Actively troubleshooting and processing and system issues for any abnormality of the deliverables
· Performing data handling, labelling and management tasks as required by the project
· Manage Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) using Excel and Oracle
Ensuring that all HSE measured are adhered to when working in office
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Survey, Engineering, or any other related fields
Minimum Experience:
• Preferably 3-5 years’ experience in the same field
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Proven experience working with different UAV platforms
Proven work experience working with different types of Sensors such as RGB, IR, LiDAR, Hyperspectral, etc.
* Previous experience with Photogrammetry software such as Pix4D, ContextCapture, etc.
