The project:
A major urban development project comprising of new homes, commercial properties, public spaces and smart urban mobility. Mace have the opportunity to develop and lead and implement the PMO structure to deliver this city development.
Provides visible health and wellbeing (H&W) leadership and direction.
Provides specialist subject matter advice, guidance and assurance to senior leadership and operational teams.
Support the delivery of the business and H&W strategy and objectives through ownership and delivery of projects, programmes within the group H&W delivery plan.
Your responsibilities will include:
Contributes to the development of and drive the implementation of health and wellbeing (H&W) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards.
Responsible for execution of group-wide delivery plans, programmes and projects ensuring delivery to planned time and budget.
Provides support and guidance to the operational business to enable local delivery.
Collaborates with HR and (health safety and wellbeing) HSW functions to enable them to support their clients across all groups and geographies.
Remains up to date with the latest thinking and research relating to organisational health and wellbeing.
Analyses data outputs from surveys, audits, key performance indicators (KPI’s) and other data sources and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manages relationships and performance of suppliers ensuring contractual arrangements are delivered to quality, time and budget. Work with senior leaders, HSW and HR stakeholders to deliver cost effective and efficient H&W performance.
Identifies and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
Relevant degree qualification.
Proven experience working on city development, programme, projects.
Knowledge transfer and mentoring experience.
You’ll also have:
Experience and knowledge of health and wellbeing legislation and delivery in a large organisation.
Current health and wellbeing issues and trends and how they impact on large organisations including forward-looking trends, challenges and opportunities.
Risk management and mitigation work in relation to health and wellbeing/people risk.
Assessing competency of team members, applying their competence to the right roles and create development plans.
Understanding of enterprise and project management.
Being able to present a range of technical information to non-technical audiences.
Business planning and budgetary control skills, strong commercial acumen.
Being able to network and share information and knowledge gleaned.
Understanding and application of intersection between health and wellbeing, inclusion, and HSW.
Professional membership or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Experience in the successful delivery phase of relevant projects and programmes.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
