Maintenance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of all hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues in hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, fixtures, and plumbing promptly to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and assets, including their maintenance history, current condition, equipment manuals, and warranty information and records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections and inventory.
• Respond to emergency response scenarios where equipment failures could pose safety risks or disrupt operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs and provide cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or quality
• Assist in the planning and execution of facility upgrades and renovations.

Qualifications:

• Required candidate must hold a Diploma or Degree in hydraulic mechanics, electrical & plumbing (MEP)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance roles Hydraulic mechanics, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical wiring, and plumbing fixtures. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Well-versed in English Language and ability to prepare reports and converse with the Management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
