LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER / SENCO NEEDED IN MUSCAT - AUGUST 2025

Location: Muscat, Oman
School: Private British Curriculum K-18 for female local and expatriate children
Affiliation: Premium Independent School in the UK
Position Available: Learning Support Teacher / SENCO
Qualifications Required:
BEd Special Needs + 2 years of experience
BSc Special Needs + 4 years of experience
BSc Special Needs + PGCE Special Needs + 2 years of experience
Other Requirements:
• Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.
• High levels of subject knowledge.
• A proven track record of high-quality teaching.
• A strong academic background, stature and experience that will command the respect of students, parents, colleagues and the wider community.
• An understanding of the demands of a UK independent day school environment.
• A commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students.
• Experience of curriculum development in your subject.
• Knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practice.
• Experience of working with children who have English as a Second Language - preferred

Salary: Tax Free Per Month- OMR1500 to OMR1875 depending on experience
Accommodation: The salary quoted above is inclusive of allowance for housing / support will be given on arrival. Teachers should budget at least 300-400 OR/month for housing
Flights: Annual for employee only
Medical: Free for employee only including dental and maternity
Tuition: 100% allowance for first 2 children
Gratuity: This is an end of service bonus in accordance with Oman Labour Law
