Your Role
As a High School Spanish Teacher at TAISM, you will:
Inspire and Engage: Teach Spanish (including AP Spanish), utilizing diverse, modern teaching methods
Foster Inclusivity: Create an inclusive classroom environment that values each student's unique strengths and needs, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and collaboration.
Support Student Growth: Prioritize effective communication and provide meaningful feedback to deepen students' understanding and support their academic and personal development.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with colleagues to enhance the educational experience, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and engage fully with the TAISM community
“Must Have”
Valid North American recognized teaching certification
BA degree in education and language instruction
Min 2 yrs experience teaching High School Spanish as a Foreign Language
Experience developing and maintaining a high-quality curriculum based on ACTFL Standards
"Nice to Have"
MA degree in education and language instruction
International teaching experience
Experience teaching AP Spanish
* ELL (English Language Learning) teaching experience and certification
