Lead the material selection and corrosion control strategy for onshore oil and gas projects.
Conduct technical reviews of project specifications, designs, and engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements
Identify, evaluate, and recommend materials suitable for various operating environments, considering factors like temperature, pressure, and corrosive media.
Develop and implement corrosion protection systems, including coatings, cathodic protection, and chemical treatment solutions.
Supervise and guide a multidisciplinary engineering team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Monitor project progress and ensure technical accuracy, cost control, and adherence to schedules.
Perform detailed failure analysis, risk assessments, and life-cycle evaluations for materials and equipment.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide expertise in corrosion monitoring techniques and ensure implementation during project phases.
Ensure all engineering activities comply , standards, and quality assurance procedures.
Keep abreast of advancements in materials and corrosion technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Support internal and external audits and address any findings related to materials and corrosion management.
Train and mentor junior engineers to build technical capabilities within the team.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
