This culinary position requires good communication skills as well as at least some previous pastry line experience. A Culinary degree or related hotel pastry experience preferred. The ideal applicant should have the ability and knowledge to prepare breads, pastries and other desserts from scratch, following recipes to produce consistent results. This person may be required to give direction in the supervisor’s absence.

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
2+ years of previous bakery and pastry line experience preferred
Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate pastry skills
Requires moderate supervision and training
Ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
