Jumeirah Muscat Bay Resort lies 15 minutes south of the city centre and 40 minutes from Seeb International Airport. The overall development will include a 1,200 square meters Talise Spa, a diving centre, a wide range of sports and leisure facilities, a selection of restaurants, bars and cafes and a kids club. The resort will also include conference and banquet facilities to cater for Oman’s growing attraction as a destination for conferences, meetings and large-scale events. The resort forms part of a larger development that includes 300 high-end residential townhouses and villas, taking advantage of some of the most beautiful, unspoilt coastline in the Middle East.


About the role


An exciting role has arisen for a hard-working Associate Director of marketing to join the opening and Sales & Marketing department at Jumeirah Muscat Bay Resort. To support in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and ultimately contribute to the growth and success of Jumeirah. Assisting in the management of marketing campaigns, conducting market research, analysing data, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, and overseeing various marketing activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives, maintain brand consistency, and optimize marketing efforts to achieve desired outcomes.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives, ensuring coherence with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring they are executed effectively and on time.
  • Conduct market research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, providing insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing the organization's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing communications and materials.
  • Support the implementation of digital marketing strategies, including social media marketing, email campaigns, content marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO), to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget, monitoring expenses, and optimizing ROI on marketing investments to achieve desired outcomes within budgetary constraints.
  • Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare reports to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate marketing plans, progress, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior members of the marketing team, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.

About You


In order to be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.


·8 years of experience in marketing, with a significant portion in a managerial or leadership role


·Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
