We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team in our Dubai HQ. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff on a daily basis, as well as helping with more complex IT issues. This position requires a good understanding of some advanced IT skills such as backend development and coding, as well as experience in helping an office with standard IT needs. The IT Support Specialist will work closely with our team to ensure that our systems are running smoothly, and any issues are quickly resolved. Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
At least 3 years of experience in IT support, with a good knowledge of technical IT
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems
Knowledge of Zoho One is needed
Experience with network and server administration
Strong knowledge of cyber security and IT security
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming and core PHP
Familiarity with front-end technologies including CSS3, Jquery, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX and Vue,js (a plus)
Knowledge of PHP and web frameworks, specially Laravel
Proficiency in MySQL Database
Experience with Apache and Ubuntu server configuration
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to our staff on a daily basis
Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Install and configure software and hardware
Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
Collaborate with our team to ensure that all systems are running smoothly
Manage user accounts and access control
Assist with the maintenance of servers and networks
Write scripts and automate routine tasks
Provide training to staff on the use of software and systems
Assist with website development and upgrades
