Senior QA Engineer Ref. 005356

Tasks :

• Working with software developers and project support teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Identifying business requirements
• Writing and executing test scripts
• Running manual and automated tests
• Use existing internal tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
• Execute and analyze test results
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Stress testing, Performance testing, and Functional testing
• Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate
• Participate in the design verification of new software

Requirements :

• Degree in Software Engineering (Bachelor's / Master’s degree), fresh out / up to 5 years of experience
• Work experience in development and/or testing role is a plus
• Development/scripting skills in common languages is a plus
• Database SQL knowledge is a must
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, like Selenium, Postman… is a positive asset
• Experience in test automation is a plus
• Experience in developing test instructions and procedures
• ISTQB Certification is a positive asset
• Any other IT/Software certification could be a plus.
• Fluent English is a must
• Fluent French is preferable
• Autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic
• Team-worker within cross-cultural environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills
• The ability to work under pressure
• A passion for technology.
