Fresenius Medical Care is the world’s leading provider of products and services for people with chronic kidney failure. Around 3.4 million patients worldwide with this disease regularly undergo dialysis treatment. Dialysis is a life-saving blood cleansing procedure that substitutes the function of the kidney in case of kidney failure. We operate in 40 production sites and in more than 50+ countries, to provide dialysis products such as dialysis machines, dialyzers and related disposables. We are looking for our Senior Manager Supply Chain Operations for Morocco and South Africa.You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process across both countries.As aleader, manager of a team of 7 employees, youwill be able to adapt strategies to meet country specific challenges and drive efficiencies, reduce costs, ensure the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers. Your main tasks will be: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and service excellence across Morocco and South Africa.Oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in both countries, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and managing performance.Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and service levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory across both countries.Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with local laws and regulations, including customs, import/export regulations, and industry-specific requirements.Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while meeting service level targets.Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors in both countries.Facilitate the Regional S&OP meetings including monthly demand review and play a key role in driving alignment between demand and supply and the desired inventory level from a logistical and financial perspective.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to all Supply Chain activities.Responsible for local Supply Chain KPIs like performance to financial budget/forecast, cash flow improvement (inventory), On-Time-In-Full distribution and warehouse measures of effectivenessYour profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a professional certification (CSCP, CPIM). 7 years of experience in an international supply chain organization (healthcare, MedTech, or food industry) with expertise in logistics, inventory management, transportation, and procurement.Proven experience leadinghigh skilled and diverse teams.Ability to work in complex, fast-changing environments.Results-driven, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, capable of representing the supply chain function in cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Procurement, Marketing).Proficiency in English is required.
