You will be manager in a team responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of a country, category, Supply Chain or FP&A. You will support the Senior Manager or Director in data collection to prepare business proposals, verify assumptions, check daily execution and support delivery of overall objectives and ensure the integrity and timeliness of reporting. You may also have a direct report or manage third party providers resources.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Evaluate all reports to maintain financial accuracy in plant processes, analyze business trends, and compare results with budgeted standards to identify variances.
- Provide detailed explanations and take immediate corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and provide financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of conversion costs and material requirements, with a focus on productivity.
- Develop and execute financial cost analyses for the plant.
- Oversee cost accounting and general accounting functions, including maintaining standard costs for conversion-related items, variance splits, and ensuring smooth and efficient transaction processing in accounting.
- Establish robust budgeting and financial planning processes for the plant, ensuring compliance with the annual plan and revised budgets as per the update schedule.
- Collaborate closely with the MBS product costing team.
- Manage and ensure control and compliance of the plant’s current and fixed assets in line with Mondelēz policies.
- Ensure adherence to accounting rules, including country and global policies and procedures, ensuring that local reporting, CAPEX investments, and internal controls align with internal standards.
- Provide financial support to plant management to identify and track potential improvements, maximize plant performance, and present monthly financial results to top management.
- Build and coach the team to ensure strong professionals are in place, providing technical assistance in areas such as SAP and controls, while fostering motivation to drive company efficiency and deliver results.
- Lead plant capital projects, ensuring financial control, obtaining necessary approvals for capital expenditures, and tracking all projects against AR and budget approvals.
- Reconcile physical plant inventories, ensure accuracy in transactions and records, and conduct annual financial audits.
Job specific requirements:
- 8 years of proven experience in Cost Accounting and Plant Controlling within a multinational business environment.
- Expertise in providing strategic financial counsel to Senior Leaders.
- Proven track record of leading and successfully managing major cross-functional and Capex projects, including justification and implementation.
- Proficiency in utilizing SAP software for financial management.
