The Customer Solutions Center (CSC) represents a strategic initiative within Mastercard, designed to create tailored, data-driven, and scalable solutions for prioritized customer segments across various markets. This structure serves as the central hub for Mastercard’s vast range of products and services, with a focus on driving growth and revenue by delivering high-impact solutions to both new and existing customers.
The CSC team is responsible for enabling Mastercard’s capabilities in a given geography, acting as experts in local market dynamics, and fostering relationships with regional product teams to ensure continuous innovation and feedback loops. By leveraging Mastercard’s extensive portfolio, the team is instrumental in positioning Mastercard as a leader in the digital payments ecosystem.
The Cluster Product and Solution Lead, alongside regional functions, oversees product and solution development, ensuring market fit and customer alignment. The position, based in the Casablanca Hub, spans 23 countries across North and French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa.

Key Responsibilities
1. Expertise in Geography and Solution Portfolio
• Serve as the expert for Mastercard's digital products, services, and platform capabilities within the assigned geography, ensuring a deep understanding of solutions such as Tokenization, Click 2 Pay, Passkey, xPays, QR, and contactless payments.
• Proactively monitor market trends and customer needs to ensure that Mastercard’s offerings remain competitive and aligned with local demand.
• Regularly brief local leadership on the latest product developments and provide accurate insights to address client opportunities.
• Drive customer success by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clients fully benefit from Mastercard’s product suite.
2. Support CSC Value Proposition Development and Sales
• Collaborate with Solution Architects (SA) and the Customer Solution Center Lead (CSCL) to craft compelling value propositions for the African market, ensuring alignment with customer pain points and market needs.
• Partner with other sales specialists to develop comprehensive, end-to-end digital value propositions that leverage Mastercard’s full range of capabilities.
• Contribute expertise and hands-on experience during the solution-selling process to ensure smooth product implementation and client success.
3. Drive Localization, Market Enablement, and Sales Support
• Facilitate the market launch of new capabilities such as SRC, MDES, contactless, and QR, ensuring local readiness and adoption.
• Offer guidance and market insights to Account Managers (AMs) on how to optimize existing relationships and maximize the potential of current product offerings.
• Provide direct support on non-complex, solution-focused opportunities by collaborating with client counterparts and assisting AMs when necessary.
4. Knowledge Sharing and Best Practices
• Actively share insights regarding customer needs, emerging opportunities, and relevant market intelligence with internal teams, driving smarter, more effective solutions.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by exchanging best practices and solutions with colleagues across the organization, contributing to the improvement of product, service, and platform delivery to clients.
