Purpose of Role: As a member of the Technical Project Management Department, the Instrumentation and Control Engineer will support the Head of Technical Project Management in providing expertise and technical support in Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineering. This role focuses on Industrial Automation and Instrumentation discipline development, with involvement in site visits for supporting site personnel in commissioning and supervision of different contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Specification Development: Create and manage the electrical specifications for external packages and subcontracted technical offices, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
Project and Commercial Support: Assist the commercial, project management, and site teams during both the sales phase and project execution, providing expertise and support as needed.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in client meetings during the bidding and execution phases, representing the company and addressing any technical inquiries related to instrumentation and electrical disciplines.
Project Management and Coordination: Oversee the project management of Instrumentation and Control (I&C) disciplines, including scope definition, cost estimation, design, implementation scheduling, vendor coordination, installation, and commissioning support. Ensure budget, quality, and schedule management for I&C engineering disciplines.
Field Support and Compliance: Conduct site visits to support hands-on commissioning and supervision of works, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, and providing support for risk analysis and HAZOP meetings.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering with preference Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Ideal candidate will have experience as a Design, Service, or Maintenance I&C or Automation Engineer.
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
Experience within the Mining Industry or other relevant industries is preferred.
Exposure to control systems architecture configuration, process control software development, and advanced process control strategies is advantageous.
Fluency in Arabic, English & French is a must. Other languages will be considered as a plus.
