Purpose of Role: As a Finance Manager at Weir Minerals Morocco, you will play a crucial role in leading the transition from the local accounting system to SAP, ensuring the seamless implementation of SAP across the business.You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including managing financial postings and ensuring proper controls are in place. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Transition: Oversee the transition from the local accounting system to SAP, ensuring seamless implementation and configuration.
• Lead Financial Operations: Oversee financial postings, accounts payable, and month-end activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SAP systems.
• Tax Compliance: Manage tax return preparation, respond to tax authority queries, and support taxation matters, including transfer pricing and investigations.
• Team Management: Develop and guide the local finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the UK finance team on budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and customer collections.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in financial management and tax compliance.
• Proven experience in managing SAP transitions and implementation in a financial context.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and collaborate across global functions.
• Fluency in English and French is essential for communication with local and global teams.
