Job Description

Administrative:


  • Yearly Calendar Management: Plan and structure the agenda for key business meetings, including Monthly Business Reviews, Country Growth Strategy sessions, and meetings with headquarters and local teams.
  • Executive Travel Support: Assist Sales Africa with all business-related travel arrangements.
  • Executive Visits: Coordinate visits of Bosch executives to Africa, collaborating with country offices and headquarters for top management reviews.
  • Day-to-Day Support: Provide general administrative assistance to Sales Africa, including supporting internal processes like goods receipt for office materials

Business Steering:


  • Business Reviews & Meetings: Lead Monthly Business Reviews, Power Tools Africa management meetings, and business updates, including managing meeting topics, formats, and minutes.
  • Document Management: Ensure the preparation of complete and accurate business review decks.
  • Process Ownership: Ensure key business processes are followed by department heads and identify solutions to improve process quality.

Marketing & Market Intelligence:


  • Competitor Profiling: Conduct in-depth analysis and create profiles of competitors.
  • Market Trends Analysis: Develop business indicators to track local market trends (e.g., consumption in sectors like cement and metal).
  • Market Validation: Collaborate with Business Development on tax and customs classifications for product families.
  • Market Intelligence Reporting: Support the creation of market and competition reports, collaborating with regional teams to update the central database.
  • New Project Analysis: Assist in the analysis and coordination of new business projects.

Event Management:


  • Pan-African Event Organization: Plan and manage large events across Africa, leading the coordination of ad hoc teams as needed.

Strategy:


  • Strategic Planning: Support the development of materials summarizing Africa’s strategy for the upcoming years, ensuring consistency and tracking.
  • Country Growth Strategy Coordination: Assist in organizing and facilitating country strategy sessions and ensure templates are provided for each country.
