MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the embedded system and IoT group, you will work with multiple embedded software development teams to help testing the latest cutting-edge technology and ensure that all products are delivered to the highest quality.

The ideal candidate will be able to execute on commitments in fast paced environment, present technical information in simple terms to a variety of

understanding levels and collaborate with service and product teams with strong communication skills focused on problem solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate in ensuring that features are well defined ahead of development
  
• Provide frequent and regular feedback to the team
  
• Design and implement the embedded software testing platform
  
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and perform testing for multiple products
  
• Create test cases and build test suites with a focus on automation
  
• Participate in discussions on product design and present test results to engineering teams and management.
  
• Participate in system test
  
• Investigate and help reproduce customer issues
  
• Validate that all design documents are accurate and updated
  
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and relevant (Release notes, installation, operation and maintenance manuals, …)
  

• Bach + 5 or equivalent degree in EE/Computer Science or related field
  
• 10+ years of experience in software development, verification and quality assurance
  
• Good skills in programming/debugging Python, C / C++, Qt, etc.
  
• Experience in different verification levels (unit, component, or integrated tests)
  
• Experience with Linux
  
• Understanding of data communication networks, associated protocols and technologies such as TCP, UDP, Multicasting, QoS, RTP, TLS, SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, Layer 2 and 3 switching, firewalls, NATs and basic network security principles
  
• Previous experience in the field of testing / quality assurance (software / embedded / hardware validation, in various applications – for example automotive, avionics, etc.) is a plus
  
• Understanding of generic electronic / electrical concepts is also a plus
  
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication and proven interpersonal skills
  
• Be result oriented, self-motivated and a team player
  
• Experience in an Agile environment with Jira Experience.
  
• Mastery in English is essential
  
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role uses standard office equipment as well as hardware products and devices for testing.
