About Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr, Morocco:



This incredible hotel located in the capital of Morocco sits on 15 acres and consists of 13 buildings for accommodation, restaurants, lobby, located within lush gardens, in and outdoor pools and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.    



Responsibilities -


Key Duties:


• To load cars for departing guests, ensuring a polite manner and courteous farewell, remembering to confirm the number of pieces with the departing guest.


• To unload luggage from the cars for arriving guests, following health and safety manual handling guidelines.


• To direct and escort guests to reception announcing them by name.


• To ensure that the hotel's driveway and main entrance are always clean and free of traffic, ensuring that all requests are reported to the concierge or placed directly into HotSOS.


• To liaise with the valet parking attendant on arriving and departing guest vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are checked thoroughly prior to acceptance/handover.


• To act as a hotel ambassador whilst ensuring that all doors are opened for guests entering and leaving the hotel. - Operational:


• To assist with moving of guest vehicles to the entrance of the parking if required.


• To provide red carpet service for VIPs.


• To strive to please the guest and sell the in-house services.


• To be aware of all activities both in the hotel (Food and Beverage functions, restaurants, meeting rooms) and in the city.


• To respond to all HotSos requests in a timely manner to avoid escalation.


• To ensure all FS Messenger chats responded within 90 seconds.


• To call for a taxi for the guest upon request.


• To take ownership of the Joggers station including the replenishment of hand towels, maps, and water.


• To be fully conversant of LQA standards and always deliver them.


• To offer various information to guest regarding the hotel services, facilities as well as general information.


• To respond to any other changes in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company and or the hotel.


• To direct trade and deliveries for the hotel to the loading bay of the hotel.


• To prevent as far as possible and within brands of tact any unauthorized persons from entering the hotel.


• To hail private vehicles or public transportation such as taxis for guests.


• Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Bell Staff and Valet Staff


- Other Duties:


• Is fully aware of his work schedule and ensures adequate notice is given with circumstances when he is prevented from adhering to the schedule.


• Reports any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons, or safety hazards immediately.


• Ensure strict control is adhered to when receiving and returning keys and whilst in his possession.


• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform / attire, name badge, maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.


• To provide a friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.


• To maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and other departments.


• To ensure you read and understand the hotel’s employee handbook and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations, and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.


• To comply with the local legislation as required.


• To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company, or hotel.


• To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/ areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.


• To attend training and meetings as and when required.


• To assist in maximising productivity for the Department.


• To cover Night shifts on a rotational basis.


Skills:


• Excellent driving skills.


• Must have a valid type B driving license.


• Professional attitude and appearance.


.Reading, writing and oral fluency in Arabic, French and English preferred


. • Organized and resourceful.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and by telephone.


• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
