Job Description


Thermo Fisher Scientific are recruiting for a Channel Partner Manager to drive opportunities and growth for our Speciality Diagnostics Group (SDG) across Morocco and Mauritania. The ideal candidate achieves this by having a deep understanding of the market and strong capabilities in building relationships with channel partners, key opinion leaders in market, identifying and capturing market expansion opportunities, efficient and effective channel partner management as well as driving collaboration and the development of strong relationships with other Thermo Fisher teams.


Location: Morocco (Casablanca or Rabat) with regular travel within the country.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new opportunities and cultivate partnerships to capture new business and expand existing business to meet financial goals of the SDG group in Morocco & Mauritania.
  • Drive business results through a channel partner model by preparing plans and budgets for designated channel partners and exceeding annual sales and gross profit targets. Implement action plans to ensure sales targets are met consistently.
  • Set annual pricing for channel partners, provide quotations for supported prices, and manage document collation for tender submissions.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, macroeconomics, and regulatory environments to drive incremental revenue targets.
  • Identify and evaluate market growth opportunities, engaging SDG cross Division teams to expand the addressable market.
  • Collaborate with Divisional teams to develop plans that drive growth in key accounts and improve go-to-market strategies.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships, build winning proposals, find new customers, and incubate products and solutions with early adopters.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of all business development activities and sales and marketing activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products and policies, ensuring distributor training needs are met. Coordinate training with marketing and technical support.
  • Ensure all activities align with Thermo Fisher Scientific policies and applicable laws.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Graduate with a life sciences degree.
  • BSc or equivalent experience in life sciences or technical laboratory background.
  • Minimum of 5 years In Vitro diagnostic industry experience within sales and marketing.
  • Experience and knowledge in Immuno-Assays, Quality Assurance Program, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, and Allergy/Autoimmunity.
  • Experience in technical support, application development, and practical laboratory practice.
  • Experience dealing with government bodies and managing large, complex projects.
  • Proven successful sales record.
  • Capable of managing major and complex accounts.
  • Skilled in financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Commercially aware, highly motivated, and target driven.
