Senior Software engineer (C developer)

About the job:

We are looking to hire a Senior C Developer to join our dynamic IT team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and code C modules for high-level languages that are reliable and easy to maintain. You may also be required to implement performance modules, identify bottlenecks, and fix bugs.

• Collaborating with IT and design teams to define and refine application requirements.
  
• Developing efficient, clean, and reliable C code, adhering to best practices.
  
• Implementing high-performance, scalable modules to enhance quality and functionality.
  
• Proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks, bugs, and integration challenges.
  
• Conducting thorough testing to ensure code quality, robustness, and durability.
  
• Continuously maintaining and optimizing automated processes to ensure consistent code quality.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CCE, Computer Science or any other related field, from a reputable university. 
  
• 4+ years of experience as a C Developer. 
  
• Proficiency in C on Unix / Linux platform. 
  
• Experience in Unix is a must. 
  
• Experience in Shell scripting. 
  
• Experience in Django/Python web development including HTML/CSS/JS. 
  
• Experience in Oracle database (PRO*C a bonus). 
  
• Some business knowledge in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory systems would be helpful in understanding the client’s WMS. 
  
• Good problem-solving skills.
  
• Familiarity with agile environments. 
  
• Excellent communication and English-speaking skills.
