Senior Data Engineer Lakehouse Ambassador

Job Objective:

• As a member of the Cloud center of excellence, you will be actively supporting Data Products Delivery as a co-chair of a Forum across Value-Streamed Crews. A critical aspect of this role will involve leading the transformation of our data stacks from Datawarehouse paradigm (Microsoft SQL, SSAS ) technologies to Lakehouse Paradigm (Trino, Iceberg).

Job Profile:

• Data as a Product - Delivery & Community of Practice Advocate for the transformation to Lakehouse in the data engineer community.
• Define the data modeling best practices.
• Improve the data engineer developer experience
• Mentor Data Engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Use your deep expertise to solve, fix and improve our data platform.
• Animate training session for data engineers
• Create onboarding material for new comers.
• Build data projects and transformation pipelines Our Stack: Talend Microsoft data stack Trino Iceberg.

Job Requirements:

• Technical culture is deeply opensource ·
• +10 years' experience in a solid technical background with data-intensive systems.
• Speak cloud fluently·
• Already have been promoted to a role of Senior or Staff data engineer·
• Experience working with distributed computation framework like spark or Flink.
• Have a deep understanding of data modeling problems in a Lakehouse environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Teamwork and willingness to perform through cooperation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness for change and problem-solving.
• Passionate about deep tech.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Data driven.
• Autonomous and decisive, taking into account the constraints.
