Responsible for defining the list
of architectural drawings and documents for projects and ensuring their
production;
Facilitates coordination and
integration among multi-disciplinary design teams including specialist
subconsultants, consultants directly employed by the client and other
stakeholders;
Technical coordination with and
integration among multi-disciplinary design teams and specialist consultants;
Attends coordination meetings and
design workshops as required;
Overall responsibility of
deliverables of the architectural discipline;
Preparation and control of design
documents as per standard procedures and as per contractual requirements;
Prepares design documents to
enable reviews and resolve any comments made;
Ensures design calculations are
checked and comments resolved;
Coordination of design documents
across all disciplines;
Other duties and tasks as may be
required, assigned and/or instructed by the Managing Director, Director of
Architecture, Project Director or Associate.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Architecture or a related field.
Minimum 10 years in architectural
design with reputable design firms, including proven work on large-scale
projects in the GCC (mixed-use, hospitality, residential developments).
Strong design creativity and
innovation, with the ability to develop unique, functional, and aesthetically
compelling architectural solutions.
Proficiency in architectural
design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative
Suite.
Strong knowledge of building
codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Experience in concept
development, design detailing, and project coordination.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Strong leadership and
decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.
Ability to delegate tasks
effectively while maintaining supervision.
