Senior Accountant

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play an essential role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law. Top candidates should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company. This includes recording all financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, and expenses.
  
• Calculate salaries and update payroll systems with employee information.
  
• Prepare tax returns and CNSS obligations, and ensure the company complies with relevant tax laws and regulations. 
  
• Conduct internal audits of financial records to ensure they are accurate and comply with relevant laws and regulations. This may include reviewing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and identifying potential issues or errors.
  
• Analyze financial data to help the management make informed business decisions. This may include preparing financial statements, conducting cost analysis, and creating budget reports.
  
• Use accounting and payroll software and other financial management and productivity tools efficiently.
  
• Suggest improvement to internal processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 
  
• 5 years of experience in a large company in Lebanon. 
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills. 
  
• Fluency in English. 
  
• Good understanding of mathematics and accounting, and financial processes.
  
• Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
