Role Overview:


As an Accountant & Bookkeeper at Omniful, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist in financial reporting to support the companys growth. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in ensuring smooth financial operations and timely month-end closes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g., general ledger entries, invoicing, bank reconciliations).
  • Maintain orderly financial records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.


  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Process vendor invoices, verify payment terms, and manage payment schedules.
  • Track and collect customer invoices, following up on overdue balances and ensuring timely payments.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies, working with internal teams and external partners to clarify issues.


  • Month-End & Year-End Close:
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, identify discrepancies, and propose adjustments when necessary.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial data to management and external auditors, if applicable.


  • Expense Management & Reporting:
  • Monitor and report on cash flow, keeping leadership updated on liquidity status.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate expense data and variance analyses.
  • Prepare regular reports on key financial metrics (e.g., cost centers, spend categories) for management review.


  • Compliance & Audit Support:
  • Ensure adherence to local GAAP or IFRS standards, as applicable.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing auditor requests.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations or financial reporting requirements relevant to Omnifuls operations.


  • Process Improvement & Automation:
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements that streamline bookkeeping and accounting workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director and other stakeholders to adopt financial systems or tools that increase efficiency and data accuracy.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 24+ years in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role; experience with SaaS, technology, or multinational companies is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is advantageous but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books) and MS Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
