• Guard force management at all VACs to include Invoice Management.
• Recommend Countermeasures to ensure security of people, assets, and processes in regular consultations with Operations teams.
• Manage and oversee the implementation of security policies & procedures and apply professional / applicable security standards to ensure the protection of people, property, information and reputation of the company.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure compliance with prescribed procedures and the introduction of security best practices.
• Supervise contractor activity to ensure instructions are followed, to verify the utilization of correct tools, equipment and logbooks.
• Daily inspection of security personnel on shift to ensure compliance with company uniform dress codes and ensure that high standards are maintained.
• Randomly test job knowledge of security personnel and advise the contractor for corrective action as necessary. Liaise with security vendors/supervisors on day-to-day basis to discuss security standards.
• Familiarization with all electronic security systems in place and ensure that all security officers are proficient with these systems. Manages, design and implements access control and protection systems for new projects in partnership with
• the Technical Security Infrastructure team.
• Lead or assist in investigation of crimes, thefts and employee misconduct etc. Performs data analysis to identify trends, risks and formulates corrective action plans.
• Prepare detailed written reports, analyze data and draw conclusions that can be translated into solutions for customer and departmental problems.
• Ensure life safety of all inside VAC and institute loss prevention measures to prevent incidents/accidents.
• Ensure all critical service levels are met and contractual obligations complied to, with deviations reported through incident report framework.
• Conduct awareness training among all employees, contractors and vendors.
• Collaborate in implementing security policies and data protection laws as applicable.
• Carry out Physical Security risk assessments and other audits for various business locations.
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in Corporate Security Division
• Effective change management skills, and a proven ability to adapt and integrate security policies in a changing environment
• Experience and knowledge of regulations appertaining to the use of various prevailing Security technologies e.g. CCTV/Access control systems / IDS / FAS
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills with a clear ability to provide leadership, direction, and reassurance across all levels of the organization
• Experience of working in a multi-agency delivery environment.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the unique issues involved with the creation of a new organization and their application at an operational and strategic level.
• Excellent influencing and listening skills.
