Role Overview
Release Management Consultants at Murex are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational aspects of releasing high-quality software versions.
Closely working with cross-functional teams, they are committed to promoting efficient processes and providing innovative solutions to adhere to product and project deadlines and requirements.
Your Role
Collaborate with Product and Client teams to create release plans and schedules
Follow-up on the different release aspects by working with multiple stakeholders, including product management, development, quality assurance, client services, IT and IS
Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases, and develop prompt and reliable contingency plans
Draft and document processes to streamline best practices and to provide training and support materials to peers
Communicate progress and raise issues to stakeholders, including senior management, Product and Project teams, through regular status updates
Closely collaborate with developers and integration teams to secure the needed release scope in a timely manner
Collaborate with testing and quality assurance teams to validate releases and ensure that they meet the functional requirements and the quality standards before deployment on client’s side
Implement new and improve existing Release Management processes and tools to increase efficiency
Your Profile
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
1 to 3 years of work experience with process/product improvements/business analysis
Strong analytical skills and have the ability to effectively influence and communicate with global stakeholders
Proven ability to think and move quickly and manage difficult situations to meet deadlines
Experience in strategy, change management, release management to execute both strategic and operational initiatives
At ease working with team members to design scalable processes and implement strategic projects to solve business problems
Ability to lead and work effectively with cross functional groups
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with agile development practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, CRM, etc.
Experience with Release Management processes and technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, release automation frameworks, release notes, etc.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant process improvement methodologies is a plus
