Recruiter (Part-time)

Jobs for Humanity is an employment platform for job seekers from under-represented communities: refugees, single moms, justice impacted, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, blind/low vision, deaf/hard of hearing. Since inception 625k job seekers signed up (1k growth/day). We offer job coaching to job seekers and use AI to match people to jobs based on merit helping companies improve quality of talent, time to hire, and cost per hire.

We are seeking a talented and driven Recruiter, ideally with agency experience, to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. As an Agency Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and placing top talent for our diverse client base across various industries.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and organizational culture
• Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients
• Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in an agency or third-party setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and candidates
• Proficiency in interviewing techniques and candidate assessment
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media recruiting platforms
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
