QA Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilledQA Leadto drive the quality assurance efforts for a dynamicFintech project. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large QA teams across multiple projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions in afast-paced, Agile environment. This role requires deep expertise inmanual and automation testing, with a strong ability to manage testing across multiple integrated systems. Direct communication with clients and remote vendor teams is key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of more than 20QA engineersacross multiple projects, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
   
2. Participate inrefinement sessionsto gain a deep understanding of all features and their business impact.
   
3. Establish and maintain direct communication withclients and remote teamsfrom different vendors to streamline QA efforts.
   
4. Review and enhance the currentAgile QA process, ensuring efficient test execution and continuous improvement.
   
5. DocumentQA processes, test strategies, tools usages, and best practicesto facilitate team alignment and knowledge sharing.
   
6. Set up and maintainmobile automation frameworksto enhance test coverage and efficiency.
   
7. Design, implement, and manageAPI automation frameworksto ensure robust backend testing.
   
8. Oversee and enforcemanual testingbest practices for complex scenarios requiring human intervention.
   
9. Conductdaily follow-up callswith clients and vendors to track UAT bugs and liaise with several PMs to ensure smooth and timely releases.
   
10. Develop innovative testing strategies to address thechallenges of multiple integrated systems.
    
11. Work in afast-paced environment, adapting to evolving requirements and priorities.
    
12. Ensure comprehensive test coverage of the product
    

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 8+ yearsof experience in Quality Assurance, with at least5 years in a QA Lead role.
   
2. Strong background inmanual testing processesand best practices.
   
3. Proven experience in setting up and managingmobile test automation frameworks(Appium, Espresso, XCTest, etc.).
   
4. Hands-on expertise inAPI test automationusing tools likePostman and RestAssured.
   
5. Excellent understanding ofAgile methodologiesand experience working inScrum/Kanbanteams.
   
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams and vendors.
   
7. Problem-solving mindset with the ability toinnovate testing approachesin complex system integrations.
   
8. Experience inSIT/UAT managementand defect tracking.
   
9. Experience in test management tools such asZephyr Scale.
   
10. Proficient in developing test cases usingGherkinsyntax within a BDD framework.
    
11. Fintech experienceis a big plus.
    

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand integrating automated tests within DevOps workflows.
   
2. ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
