The Kitchen commis is a full-time, on-site role. The successful candidate will report to the kitchen Chef and is mainly responsible for preparing ingredients and all menu items. The candidate is also expected to assist other team members with cooking, inventory and other tasks.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· At least two-years experience in a similar role.
· Strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & to provide training and support to colleagues.
· Flexibility to work in varying shifts, special occasions as & when required.
· Familiarity with organic food, vegan / plant-based products is a strong plus.
· High school diploma or equivalent is a prerequisite, certification(s) is a strong plus.
